ZEISS is building a modern, future-oriented and interconnected high-tech complex in Jena, Thuringia.

The project

The development units as well as a large part of the locally based production and administration departments are to be brought together here.

Construction began in 2021 and completion is scheduled for December 2025. This is ZEISS' largest construction project in Germany to date. A sophisticated energy concept combines ecology and economy. For example, as much heat and electricity as possible will be generated by geothermal energy at the high-tech site in the future.

In the form of a consortium, BCL is responsible for the construction logistics planning and execution on this complex project.
